Hey all... I have two ARs, and neither is really configured the way I want them. I have: 1) Bushmaster with A1 upper, 11.5/5.5 HBAR barrel 2) Bushmaster Dissipator A2 with 16" HBAR barrel I like both rifles well enough, and they shoot fine. I'm just looking to get more into the M4-style configuration, and I'm looking for the best (most cost effective) way to do so. I'll probably sell the 11.5/5.5 as a complete rifle, as I want to make space in my collection for a Magpul Masada when they become available. I'd like to configure the other rifle as an M4 style rifle. So what to do? Should I... * Just sell the whole Dissipator and buy a new M4 style rifle? * Sell Just the Dissy upper, buy an M4 upper and swap out the stock on the lower? What should I do? |
| For all the more it would cost, I would just get a new gas tube and block. Actually, for all the more it costs, keep an eye on the EE. If you aren't in a hurry, the right deals will come up. I'm done finishing lowers for now. I have 3 complete lowers with A1, A2 and 6 position M4 stocks. Now I'm gonna buy more complete uppers. In my opinion, it wouldn't be worth selling the whole rifle when you can just throw an upper you like on it. |
