I’m thinking of ordering a DNTC compensator from Rainer Arms in a couple of days, as of right now I’m running an YHM phantom 5C2 on my M4. I don’t really need a flash hider but I bought the 5C2 because it was basically the best of both worlds at the time. Now, here is my question, is the DNTC a better compensator than the 5C2 or are they comparable in terms of compensating. Any information you give on this issue is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

IMHO the 5C2 doesn't look like a compensator at all, so I would think the DNTC would work better as a brake/compensator.

See my post in the DNTC compensator thread.

The short of it: The 5C2 is a better FS, the DNTC is a better comp, much better.
