I can get one for $1000 out the door. Is this a good enough deal that I should take it?

I paid about that for mine ($1069), including tax and transfer, I like mine and it has quickly become my primary carbine.

It's not to bad. The cheapest I've seen online after shipping is about $910 then you tac on FFL transfer so on average thats about $25. Yeah its a $65 dollar difference but there's no wait time and if something is wrong you have a face to face middle man. It's a great choice for a an AR.

Not a bad choice, but Bushy's seem to be a little overpriced these days from what I've seen from guys at work that own them. If you can afford it, however, buy it.

You can save $100 or so by purchasing your upper and lower seperately.

Also take a look at Stag/CMT. They make and sell parts to most of the big names. Then BM charges you extra for the snake logo.

I own 2 Bushies. The second one I bought in two parts and saved money.

for the short time that i was seriously looking for that gun, i found them online for 850-900 new.  then i decided to get a rifle kit from www.del-ton.com and a stripped lower.  i ended up with a ~900 gun but it had all the aftermarket parts i wanted.  i'll post a review when it gets here (a part is backordered).
