[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Rear sight mods

I'm starting to use hooded peeps in the rear iron sight and I'm thinking of reducing the az canting of the assembly. Any home gunsmiths here have drilled and pinned their sights to the handle? How did you do it? Drilled and pinned at the rear or rear and front? Use the hole in the front? Size of bit? Thanks
