Hey guys,
I'm looking for some suggestions as far as shipping an upper. I'm fixing to have a FF rail guard installed so I have to ship it off.  Any recommendations about where I can find a box for shipping an upper?
Thanks!

I usually check the dumpsters behind the malls or grocery stores. I often times find nice boxes that can be custom cut to size. The SEARS repair shop had very nice brand-new boxes in their dumpster. I also use the larger cut up boxes to make my own targets.

USPS has a flatrate priority box that is perfect for shipping uppers.  I think that they were initially designed for shipping rolled up posters and what not, but they are what I have my uppers shipped in (wrapped in bubble wrap too of course).  USPS Priority is nice because it gets there in 3 days or less and is pretty inexpensive.

Here is a pic of it

Good suggestion! I also believe the USPS will deliver Priority Mail shipping products free to your house. I ordered and received some Priority Mail boxes, tape and labels free to my door step back in my eBay days.

Ditto!

I use those and bubble wrap.  The longer one for complete uppers and the short one for just the barrel.

also.. you can use the Priority Flat rate box on the left for 16" barrel.  Box is only 13.625" x 11.875" x 3.375, but barrel fits diagonally, no problem.
