Deal with confidence. And if your as close to them as you admit……shred your CC.

I have looked at their uppers at the gun shows, but have never bought one.  They are great people to deal with.  I have bought a bunch of parts from them and had to send a thing or 2 back.  Their service is excellent.

Another +1 for Del-ton.  Make sure you are getting chrome lined barrels if thats what you want.... They sell both.

I just ordered a mid-lenght rifle kit from them, very nice people. The only grip I have is that they didn't have any chrome-lined barrels at the moment.Well SCREW THAT! I ordered one anyway and will shoot to enjoy until I can order the chrome-lined kit and then give my 12-year old nephew a great Christmas present!(You can't go wrong with those prices!)

Currently running a Del-Ton Chrome-Lined Barrel from the EE, and a Del-Ton
flat top upper on a DS lower. Assembled by a friend locally.
Color match is perfect, accuracy is great. Best $500 i ever put in a gun.

On the whole they make good upper recievers. There are some small problems...with mine I have to dial the about windage 15 clicks to the left to get it zeroed and they installed a A2 front sight for my flat top instead of an 'F' marked one, so that the front sight post is almost coming out of the well. The reason why I never sent it back and why I never really complained was that the rifle fundamentally worked (kind of too late to send it back after a year)...just now I'm getting into target shooting and the small things are starting to matter. My point is, Del-ton is a fine solution as long as you don't want a rifle for competition right out of the box or one that is super accurate. If you want something like that, you need to go elsewhere. Otherwise they are good folks.

Del-Ton upper assy., Bushy Lower....fit is nice between the two. Color doesn't match though! ....

I have had nothing but good luck with Del-Ton, between my friends and I, we have puchased 6 kits. One kit was missing one detent spring in the LPK, called them to see what could be done...NOT a problem, they sent me ALL of the springs.
