| Looking at the Stag-15 model 2 pre-ban. How hard is it to remove the front sight post to install a flip front sight? Or any suggestions on making my way around it? Thanks |
| It is easy. Very easy. Clear the weapon, take a punch and drive out the two pins from the small end, take a smaller punch and drive out the roll pin holding the gas tube, remove the FSB, slide on new FSB and attach it however the manufacturers instructions say. Then you're done. |
also need to remove the flash suppressor or whatever other muzzle attachment may be on the weapon. |
Once you remove the flash hider, if a crush washer is used it may not be as tight as the first time you touqed the washer. You may want to get a extra crush washer just in case. |
I wouldn't say this procedure is easy for someone who is asking the question the OP is asking. |
