Brightflashlights in the industry forums sold me one at a good price.

It looks like BrightFlashLights is a tad cheaper.  SWFA is the same price but they tack on shipping charges.  When I bought my 512, they were less expensive.  Both are great, reputable companies.  SWFA throws in a freebie neoprene cover.

If money is really important get a bushnell holo tech

Mine works great just like the eotech but does not use AA batteries and my bushnell is even NV compatible

Keep your eyes open for used Rev F on the EE forums.  Many times you can get a used 55x for the same price as a new 51x.  If you're lucky sometimes even less...

So far Lauer is the cheapest I've seen for a 552. That's where I'm gonna get mine for my 7.5.

You're lucky you didn't get it from Botac, a lot of members here are not too happy with their service reputation.

I don't know who have the cheapest price now but it usually change all the time.

What I did before I bought my 551 model was I sent IM or e-mail to the sellers at the Equipment Exchange and got their price quotes and I also searched the internet.

I found an AR15.com industry partner here that sold the 551 (latest Rev F) to me for only $305 plus shipping, it was the lowest price I could find at that time.

Good luck.

GG&G has a good package deal with their accucam lever, worth it if you are going to go with an accucam anyway.

Natchez has refurbished holosights for $219 right now. The prices on the 512 went up by like $40 and I didn't want to pay that much on my second one. I was going to go straight irons on my lightweight carbine, until I got the March flier. I saw these on Opticsplanet a couple weeks before I wanted one for around $200. Then, I decided to get one and they were out of them. $219 still wasn't bad.
