I've got the accu-wedge on it's way. It's like buying a broken car or bad food or new computer and fixing it. Fixing old used anything is understandable. Buying a brand new TV and immediately replacing the tube or seeing a dead pixel. One shouldn't need to do these things. But It happens and no one is perfect. |
I thought about that aswell so I took tried my two uppers on a friends lower and It was very tight. All three of his uppers where slut loose on my lower. That makes FIVE uppers that are loose on my one MEGA lower. I was hoping that it was the upper...No luck there |
Wow, that lower must have a very low shelf to still be loose with the accu-wedge. Hope you get a more harmonious outcome next time. |
Me to! I'm thinking POF lower, RRA? |

that wiggle is not a problem worthy of a fix... my NIB colt had a slight wiggle... it's definitely not worth sending an upper back... it's not really a problem.. a problem is when you need a hammer and punch to assemble/disassemble the upper and lower... that's just ridiculous... |
I Can't argue with you about the hammer and punch thing. The wiggle just bugs the hell out of me. |
i'd rather have a little wiggle that annoys me but i can shoot this week than be without an upper for another couple weeks. |
Well to each his own. Every time I go to hit the light I can feel it tweek. Would I say it's a problem? NO It doesn't affect the function of the rifle. BUT damn it annoys the piss out of me. |
