I have a stag arms lower with nothing on it right now and am wanting something for the range.  I already have a RRA midlength that I take coyote hunting, so whatever I get will be a range baby for just accuracy work and grouping.

I would love to get a Clark Gator for the guaranteed 1/2" at 100...but, I don't have the $950 for it they list on their website.
I have about $600 + or - a little.  Is my next best option a White Oak Arm. upper?  If so, which one...the Varmint or Match version???  The Varmint is $80 or so less.

Am I missing another upper that would do me better for a target rifle for my price range than that.  My pops just bought a RRA varmint upper that looks nice, but I don't know how it shoots yet as he hasn't shot it.

Thanks for any help!...and sorry it's another one of those which one should I get threads.

For what its worth, two of my associates at work have had dealings with White Oak, and both have commented on exemplary service. Both the products in question were barrels, although I don't know how much WOA had to do with 'em; I don't know if they were bought separately or as uppers from WOA. Both those rifles shoot like a house afire, so I could be inclined to purchase from them as being a very good value for the money.
