I'm new to AR's and i just bought my 1st one yesterday and the trigger pull feels like 100 lbs.

I was woundering what the differnce is between a 2 stage 3lbs trigger and a single stage drop in trigger at 3lbs?

Trigger shouldn't feel so heavy.  No need to have an aftermarket trigger on anything but an SPR.

I dont know about that 100 lbs trigger pull but it is normal for a stock trigger to be "heavy". But then again ... that is subjective.

The  difference between a single stage and a two stage is the "slack" (hope i used the correct terminology). On a two stage you will feel a slack before the trigger breaks and lets the hammer fall. On a single stage, there is no such "play". When you squeeze the trigger, it will immediately break.
