I am looking for my first AR 15 and was wanting some advice. I know that I want an a3 flat top upper, but I don't know if I need the collapsable stock or if I want a 16 or 20 inch barrel. I don't do alot of long range shooting, 100 yards at best. Also, I don't have alot of money to spend. I am looking at 600-700 dollARs to start out with and I can upgrade from there. A couple of brands I have looked at ARe Olympic ARms and StAR FireARms(which I have never heARd of). How ARe these rifles in terms of relieability and accuacey. All suggestions ARe welcome thanks Borbski |

Well, they are built on a Double Star lower. Double Star is the mfg. And J&T is their distributor. People rant and rave on this web site about how good Double Star lowers are and how good the J&T parts are. After that it's a matter of how well they are assembled. Probably just fine. I'd buy the Doublestar over an Olympic. YMMV |
