I’m good with the AFG. Should be moving to a Mod 1 upper soon.  I also run a 14.5 upper when it fits the mission.

Yeah, the MG3 should run fine with US DODIC 7.62mm M13 linked ball, matter of fact the US M240 Pistol Grip/Trigger Mech and Feed Tray are direct copies of the MG3.   You can get a 120rd plastic "Stoner" style drum for the MG3 and if a Joe were motivated, he could swap the MG3 feed tray with the 120rd box hanger clip onto the M240 for more than the issue Nutsack full of ammo on the move or to use the plastic 50rd HK Drums for ease of loading:

When in fact they aren't. Their ROE is to run to the nearest LEO. Hence why we're tasked with them. We are baby sitting the NG.

I am better equipped than the NG is. I'm LE, not NG.

During and after 9/11, the majority of NG were  carrying empty rifles. It is all a dog and pony show.
This might breach OPSEC.
Lol, no. This is well known information. I was living in Tuscaloosa in 2011 when we got hit by the F4 tornado. When the NG showed up, neither the m4, m9 or the 249/240's on the trucks were loaded. Hell, they didn't even carry mags on them.

Here is me and my trusty FN from 2005. The 203 got taken away from me by the higher ups because there was supposedly no need for them! The rest of my tour she wore a KAC M5 RAS which I have since cloned exactly down to the serial number.Attachment Attached File

Scope is off the M3 84mm Carl Gustav Recoilless Rifle.  Don't know who makes it, just a red dot there.  Correct on light.

@Combat_Diver what excitingly tan paint did you use there? I've been wondering what folks were using early GWOT, it seemed to have a very different tone from the Khaki and sandy tans we see now on the shelf.

Been in the army for nearly 10 years, spent most of my time with combat units (Doc here) so I'd like to think I'm a grunt first medic second. For this particular deployment I was given a pretty basic M4 which I had to pretty up with some of the gear and furniture I've collected over the years. All-in-all this is a pretty relaxed mission but in an area that is constantly on pins and needles in a country we're not actually in, has its ups and downs. At least I'm on the team that if something does happen I will absolutely 100% be apart of the action.

Got anymore info on it? What is the blue grenade body made out of? Is it rocket propelled as well or only launched by the booster? And more importantly, what does it do when it impacts the target? Thanks

Didn't dissect the grenade body buy thin sheet metal over weighted material to replicate a HEAT round.  Yes, rocket booster screwed onto body as standard rockets.  Throws up dirt on impact.  Solid projo in other words.

Baghdad, 07-09, my personal M4, and 3/89 cav rifles and sniper sections painted ones.

PS: the larue stealth upper was on some Maj's rifle, and he actually was on a PSD IIRC and went out a lot. and was a shooter.

PPS: the Surefire cans got everyone in trouble in town, because they kept shooting the dogs. they didn't even have em on for 2 weeks
