| I was wondering if any could tell me a little about this caliber.I am thinking of building a light weight or feater weight rifle for my wife and son when he's older to be able to use.Mostly how is the recoil and accuracy. |

The 20 Tactical is what inspired Ruger/Hornady to bring out the 204 Ruger. It's simply a .223 case necked down to 20, with the shoulder barely bumped back a hair. I have built about 25 of them over the past couple of years. They shoot 3's with Pac-Nor stainless super match 3 groove 1:12 barrels. My personal prairie dog gun is chambered in 20 Tactical. If you reload, the 20 Tactical is a far better choice then the 204 Ruger. However, you can't buy ammo for the 20T. Tony Rumore Tromix Corp www.Tromix.com |
