The plug in my grip allways seems to fall out after a few rounds. I have tried cuuting a bicycle innertube to fit around the insert part of the plug and it didnt work. the plug still fell out today. I konw this not an essential part, but it does both me. It also makes it impossible to store any parts or bateries in the grip.

Does any one have any other suggestions? Has anyone exsperianced this problem?

I just bought a new Ergo grip and it came with an attached plug. It has a piece of rubber molded in that goes up to the top of the grip and attaches. I don't like the plug so I just cut it off anyway. But the new style might work better for you. I like the Ergo because of the way it feels, not for storage.

If you need storage the Magpul MIAD may work better for you.

Thank for the input on the Maidi, but I bought Ergo for comfort. It fits my hand well. The storage was just an added bonus.

Mybe I will look into one of the newer ones with attached plug.

I used to prefer the Hogue grip, but now prefer the Ergo for feel and storage. I use the plug/grip to hold copies of my NFA paperwork.

Did you try turning the plug around?  I have the newer one with the attached plug.  It will go into the grip both ways but it only stays in one way.  I have been keeping my allen wrenches and scope cleaning cloth in the grip without a problem.

Mine fell out at the range and I didn't notice till I got home. No loss though, glad I don't have to constantly pick it up and put it back in anymore. Like somebody else said if you want storage, check out the MagPul MIAD.

Never had a problem with mine.

Maybe you got a bad plug? Call Ergo and talk to them.

Mine fell out at the range about a year ago... I am also glad I don't have to keep picking it up and looking for it. I love the grip and don't need the "storage" so it works great for what I need it for.

My ergo works fine. sucks it will only hold one AA battery though. I guess that will be enough to get the eo back up. Havwe you guys ever thought of putting your goods in the mag and stuffing a napkin or something in as a retainer. It could be an evil napkin.
