Hey all. I've got a bushmaster post ban m-4 with fixed telestock. It has the full length buffer tube with the standard buffer. Does it matter if I use the car buffer in place of the standard? m44u |
| Yes, it matters. If you use a carbine buffer you will FUBAR that rifle. The standard buffer prevents the bolt carrier from taking up permanent residence inside the receiver extension (buffer tube). If you want to use a carbine buffer you need to install a carbine receiver extension and use a carbine spring. |
