WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING ON MY INTERNET?

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN MY CYBERSPACE???

WHY ARE YOU NOT OUTSIDE IN THE FRONT LEANING REST PUSHING UP PARRIS ISLAND?????

Assuming you are in Boot camp, isnt it nice to have a distraction to put your mind on, to help make time pass by??? Good luck, and you really should knock a few out just for being on the internet.

I'm not buying an AR with my refund, I'm paying a bunch of bills.  But I already have a new AR on the way so I'm "almost" buying it with my refund.

And by the way, some of us get refunds because some of our income is tax-free, l like my VA disability payment, and we haven't figured the best way to adjust our withholding to correct for that.  There are lots of calculators for people with all taxable income, but not for us with some non-taxable income.

Oh, and just a note: military retirement pay doesn't have Social Security or Medicare tax withheld, so my Social Security status is just sitting there after 23 years of active service...

Bills.

Trust me, you do not want to obtain a tax refund the way I am receiving mine.  Last year, I paid close to $40,000 out of pocket for my wife's medical expenses that health insurance DID NOT cover.  Unfortunately, my love passed away this past Friday and I will have more medical bills to pay.  When I start to get ahead, I plan on treating myself to a good reward.

I see health insurance companies as a friend with one arm on your shoulder, and the other arm twisting the knife that they stabbed you in the back with.  They have no problems taking your money, and giving the execs multi-million dollar bonuses, yet they fight on everything they have to pay.

Oh well, as hard as this is, I am off to the funeral home.

Haven't figured yet whether I'm paying or owing - you guys already know/have received all your forms in the mail from your income sources?

I usually don't know till the middle/end of Feb.

If I come out ahead, there will be another pallet of ammo in my future.

I am SO sorry about your loss.  And having to deal with huge expenses on top of the emotional cost is inhumane.
