It seems that there are alot of people on the site with multiple rifles. I want to buy a lower to put away but does that just lead to building it up just because its there? Being in a ban state I will just buy a stripped Stag and use it if the pre ban needs a replacement. How many of the members only have one?

I did the same thing.  Bought one, then bought a lower and stored it in the safe.  Damn thing morphed into a full rifle somehow.  If you get a stripped lower, it will grow!!!!

I had a complete rifle and after about 4 years bought a stripped lower.

Now I have 2 complete rifles.

I have a stripped upper in my safe now...guess what?

I have been shopping for small parts and a barrel to complete the upper.

My God, it never ends....

Go ahead and build it.

It'll haunt you until you do.

Listen to the others, they know of what they speak.
Before you know it you'll be crusing the EE looking for parts. New, used, it doesn't matter. Then another lower, and more parts. It only gets worse from there...
