I have a friend who has asked me to sell his AR, he knows nothing about it except that he's hardly ever shot it. I am not well versed on upper markings so I pose the question here. The upper is a 20" HBAR A2, the only markings are a C on the bolt carrier, and CM in front of the rear sight assy on the carry handle. It is a dark black finish, not like parkerized, with a smooth texture, it has a compensator with 4 rows of 3 holes extending lengthwise. The lower is a Pre-ban DPMS, and he has had the rifle for at least 10 years. Is it safe to assume this is a Colt upper?? Any help would be greatly appreciated |
