Can anyone tell me how the stock comes off so I can put on a collapsible stock?

take the top butt plate screw out. pull stock off to the back. watch out for the rear take down pin spring.

take out buffer and spring. spin extension tube off. watch out for buffer retainer pin/ spring.

ETA: this is for an A2 stock since you failed to state which kind of fixed stock you had.

Go to the "information" menu (it's between "services" and "equipment exchange") and select "downloads". Scroll down to the -29, Unit and Direct Support...
