What differences are there (if any) between a full auto and a semi auto firing pin.  Pictures would be nice if you have them.   I have seen auto pins advertised next to semi pins but had no idea there was a difference.  I have firing pins that have come with my Colt rifles with semi auto carriers, so I assume they are semi auto pins.  But when I had a problem with Colt, they sent me a whole brand new full auto bolt and carrier group and I didn't see a differene in the firing pin.  Thanks!

FA firing pins are made with evil steel (or titanium) and forged in the Devils smithy.  SA firing pins are made with slightly less evil steel (or titanium).  the only good firing pins are the ones in bolt action .22 rifles.

The diference is in its collar FA a large collar and SA a smaller collar. If you run a shrouded or FA carrier either will work. Its when you use a large collar FA in a semi unshrouded carrier that the hammer beats the pins collar to death.
