i heard Aemtec uses the same foundry as Bushie, not sure if that is true. $ 200 is WAY too much for a stripped lower

Well if it comes with the Snakie and the other markings pre-Craylola Crayoned, the it would be worth the full price!

I could never understand why Bushmaster stripped lowers are so much money. They are quality lowers but there are so many quality lowers out there for around $100 or so.

And that Cheesy God Damned Snake logo too.  It's so big and fr00tie.  I mean...  I'm not one to pick a lower based on the logo, but dang!

I like the Eagle/Armalite lowers cuz they're so subdued.

It's based solely on the fact that they have "Bushmaster" engraved on the side.

If the guy I spoke to at Bushie a week or so ago is to be believed, they are totally unaware of what the competition is selling lowers (and uppers for that matter) for.  I was ordering a barrel, on which they are competitive w/the rest of the market, and I mentioned that if their upper recievers weren't so expensive I'd have ordered one of theirs.  When I said that I can buy a Rock River or Stag upper for about $100 shipped, compared to their $182.95 plus $14.50 shipping, he acted astonished.

Now I don't necessarily believe that nobody at Bushie ever checks the competition, but obviously somebody in Maine is asleep at the switch.

No! Bushie is not that good. Get a CMMG or a Stag lower. For a lot less. I am not sure what there head trip is at bushmaster, when it comes to priceing. If there quality was there I would pay but it is not. At times it makes you wonder if they are working at puting them selfs out of buessness.
