Anyone have an idea of what a transferable Model 606 CAR-15 is worth, no forward assist, heavy barrel, 3 prong flash hider, have one and trying to establish a price on it.
Thanks

Isn't the 606  a heavy bbl 20", and not a "CAR" model?

if it had a F/A, it would be a 606A, and with 3 round burst , a 606B. The export model was the 611. Production was supposed to be a little over 250 guns.

If a true 606, uncut/non-reweld, all correct parts and transferable, I would say between 16-20K.

How is the receiver marked?  with a model number, or just the AR-15 designation and serial number?

It was part of the CAR 15 Family. Most think that CAR were short barreled M-16's Do a search on Wikipedia for Model 606 and it will explain the CAR family much better then I can.  Receiver is marked AR-16 Model 06.  Thanks for your reply.
