Someone needs to come up with a flow chart for FTE, FTF, shortstroking, etc.  Or, do they already exist?

Don't know if one is out there, but if not it is a great idea to have one. Now we just need a smart person to come up with one.

I elect you to do it.
Read through my how-it-works post and start writing...
Note that failure to extract/eject can be on either end of the function spectrum.
The presence or lack of extractor pull marks or ejector flow marks are the keys to reading fte problems.

I wonder if they could set up a Post under mantance and cleaning etc. Do a check list. Mfg. Problem. Etc.? Might be interesting. I know the milatary does  Distruction testing before addopting a new firearm. Ave. rounds before failure. Whether failure was major or minor. Rounds between stopages Etc. Not sure if that would fit the bill. Not quite a real world situations.
