I have a LAR Grizzly lower receiver; used as my first build it yourself.  I've installed a Bushmaster LPK.  I've taken it to the range a few times already, and have about 1k rounds through it already.  I initally had problems with the trigger pin walking out after a couple of mags were fired.  I contacted Bushmaster about the issue, and their response was that it had something to do with the disconnector spring; so I replaced it, and I'm still having the same problem!  The pin keeps walking out after a couple of mags.  So I'm not sure what to do; I've read about the KNS anti-walk pins, but I want to see if their is a simpler solution first.  Any ideas out there?  hotos,

The only solution I know of is the anti-walk pins.

your hammer spring appears to be installed upside down.

reassemble the FCG with the spring in correct position

yes, the "legs" of the spring should be towards the bottom

The most common cause is that the hammer spring legs are not on top of the trigger pin. But it looks like yours are.

However, it looks like your hammer spring is installed incorrectly. Now I haven't used Bushmaster LPKs but my factory Colt rifle and the 3 CMT/Stag kits are installed with the hammer spring legs coming out at the bottom rather than the top of the loop like yours does. Take your hammer spring off and turn it around. This will increase the tension and likely solve your problem.

Damn, look at that! I take the time to grab a rifle, remove the hammer and confirm what I was thinking and 4 or 5 or 6 others beat me to it.

BTW, anyone have a link to a diagram or picture of how it should look like?

I would have taken a picture of mine but my old camera doesn't do close ups worth a damn.

Just peel your spring off and turn it around, while keeping the top loop against the rear of the hammer.
