This is my AR. Still a work in progress, but money is tight these days. Still will take down a praire dog at about 400 yards quite nicely. Also pictured is my beautiful FiveseveN. This is my first time to post, so I hope the pictures work. I have it on the carry handle because for one I am a fan of the way it looks. Two, I pefer it being higher. And lastly, it just works. I'm only 22 and its my first AR. At least its better than the one I had stolen from my apartment before we moved to a house. It had a BSA red-dot mounted on the removable carry handle. -B |
Well if he likes it and it works for him I guess that's what matters. Just asking a guestion Mike |

Nice looker! How does that ACOG work for you on the carry handle? I've been considering that option (I have an A2 model), and doesn't seem like it'd be too high. Most people seem to like to have the rifle with the toe of the buttstock on their collar bone to keep their head verticle while using optics on a flattop, I figured I could use the same heads-up geometry, but have the rifle properly mounted by mounting on a carry handle. |
