[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Model 1 and maparts

One of the guys I know just built 2 rifles one from each and they are all accurate and the finish is good. He has Stag lowers and they seem to work fine. Model one was a M4gery and the other was a 20 inch A2 with gov barrel.

I know they are black listed but Model 1 has improved or the parts have.

And I have just heard about maparts owner issues from people here.

Overall I would not have a problem getting a kit or parts from these places if its the same quality as the ones I saw this past weekend.

I think Model 1 pretty much always put out a good product, I don't have first hand experience but I have heard/read enough to know they have a good reputation

I have bought several kits form Model 1. They are good. Though some people have had issues with them. I think someone posted awhile back about a model 1 bolt breaking. It was replaced by Model 1.

A freind and I ordered Stag lowers and Model1 uppers and LPK's to celebrate the sunset of the AWB. Mine was a great rifle but I know he had a couple of issues with the Model1 lower parts kit. But they took care of him and in the end everything worked out fine. His assembly just took a little more elbow grease than mine.
