Anyone ever had any dealings with RGuns? If so, what do you think of them? Thanks |

If you means these guys R&R Guns than yes. I bought my DPMS 308 from them. They are a little wierd. The rifle took about three months to come, and they charged the credit card at the time of the order. Other dealers charge when they ship. I called them and I told them I was not very happy, and they only charged $100 (the remaining at shipping time). Also, and this I've never seen it before, they charge you $30 for a check for the FFL dealer where they will ship. Note that you'll have to pay the FFL dealer in any case, so that's just extra $30 thrown out of the window. Other than that, they usually have very good prices. I'd buy from them again, if they won't charge at order time, and if they would remove the silly $30 overcharge. - Ice |

Bought a M4 kit from them along with a lower. Kit came in short, carry handle, flash hider, delta ring kit. They sent me the flash hider and the delta ring kit. Four calls later I got ahold of owner who then sent me a carry handle. Time from order to complete was six weeks. They won't see any orders from me again. Rainer, ADCO, Del-Ton are all first rate ...... Pat |
| I bought the nude callinders from R Guns in Illinois, then I ordered a M4 upper for $400, I asked if it indeed came with a chrome carrier as pictured, the fellow said "we have both, wich do you want" I said chrome, I also ordered another B/BC at the same time for $100, he sent me 2 chrome b/bcs at the regular price, I also got 10 sigapore steel mags for $8 each. All good stuff, prompt delivery, no complantes here. |

Forest: there were issues with the old ownership of R-guns. To my knowledge, they are under the control of a different owner, and their business practices have improved very very much. Their problem wasn't so much whether they were right or wrong, it was HOW they addressed the situation that pissed people off. In short, from the incident that I am aware of, they weren't necessarily wrong so to speak, however they handled the manner in a sub-par manner. However, over the past 3 years, I have done plenty of business with them and find them to be a very honest, honorable, and prompt group of people to deal with. They may be short on the telephone, but they will also answer your questions quickly, tell you what to expect, and get you what you want. I still back them, and as long as they continue doing what they have been over the past few years, there is NO reason doubt them at all. Good group working there, and running the shop. And based on the above picture, yes, that is Rguns out of IL. Based on the fact that I have zero issues with them, and know most of them personally, I still say that you should order from them, and have NO worries at all. Scott |
Well, at that time I did a search for online DPMS dealers, but I could not find any. R&R also had very good prices. - Ice |

3 years ago While I was purchasing my 2nd and 3rd complete lower I asked them If they were 100% COLT, They said yes, 4 months later at a gun show I realized that my stock was not Colt. when I later returned and did a face to face. the guy just stood there and shruged his sholders and said he didnt tell me that........ I will now give every other vendor priority over R-guns |

I ordered some Singapore Steel AR15 mags from them. Like others have said they aren't the most pleasant people to talk with. The thing is that i ordered on a wednesday via fax. I then emailed them to make sure it got there. Then BAMMM come Friday I have the mags. I can put up with some shortness or lack of phone/email etiquette(sp) but I am more impressed with product in my hands than BSing on the phone. Next time I order something that they have at a better price than anyone else, they'll get my business. |
