Well, I finally got my fingerprints and my ATF Form 1 over to the Sheriff's Office today for his signature. Now, I have to wait on him before I can send everything off. I am taking my DPMS Panther Carbine (11.5" bbl w/ 5.5" FH) and having the FH removed and the threads cleaned up. I have already contacted Randall Rausch (www.ar15barrels.com) about the job. Fee: $25 to remove a permanent muzzle device and clean up the threads that will already be there. $15 return shipping for an upper or $10 for a barrel. Unfortunately, I will have to wait for some time before this can take place. |
