I have 2 middies built exactly the same except for the barrels. One is chrome-lined H-bar 1/9, the other stainless 1/8.

I need to sell one to fund a KISS lite frankengun. Which would you keep and why?

They shoot exactly the same to me so the barrel twist is a non-factor . The cl barrel may be a little heavier but I haven't weighed them.

IMHO - sell the CH

Stainless *should* be good for a few more fps and 1:8 should give a wider range of options with boolets.

Depends whether if you ever plan on shooting heavier bullets or try to eek out the utmost in accuracy. If your only desire is to shoot surplus 62 or 55 grain loads through the barrel, keep the 1/9 CL as it will outlast the stainless under the same conditions.

Sell the CL b/c the KISS gun will be able to take over most (if not all) of that thing's applications.
