Are they good and tight? Do you like them.....If I dont go with this one then I will probably get the ACE K style. The web site says they have storage. Does anyone know what the configuration is (i.e screw off bottom, will it hold 2 CR123's, etc....) Thanks in advance |

i've had one for over 2 years. locks up VERY tight, but definitely not quick to move or remove (not an issue for me...). the storage area has a rubber plug that seems to fall off pretty easily...i put a few extra rubber bands around the plug area to increase contact and tighten the seal. the grip is hollow, not really configured for any particular items...i keep 2 "N" batteries for my Eotech and 2 sets of earplugs. fairly spacious for the size of the grip. probably wouldn't hold more than 1 3v batt tho.... BTW, the ACE K-grip is total garbage. unlike ALL of their other products, it is fragile as glass...held in place by 2 PLASTIC set screws. what a horrible idea (if you can bench 25 lbs you can rip one off with your bare hands.....) |
