In the process of ordering an Entry Tactical, but I was looking and noticed that they also offer a chrome lined barrel what advantage would this give me versus not having one ?

Longer barrel life, easier to clean, stays clean longer. for the $40 or so, its definatly worth it. Ive got one chrome lined that just replaced a chrome moly, MUCH better IMHO. Hope this helped. Your getting into a fine gun, Its my favorite RRA model, and RRA is one of the top manufacturers out there.

Don't think, just get the CHrome Lined Barrel.  You won't be disappointed.

I only had to put 2 patches down my barrel last time out.  It keeps it that clean.  I'll never get another non-chrome lined barrel.

The chrome lining possibly takes away about 1/2 inch of accuracy from what I understand. RR gurantees 1 inch with their standard barrels. I guess if I was shooting full auto it might matter but none of my hunting rifles ever had a chrome barrel. I have a 16 inch that has it and a varminter that doesn't. I ordered the RR recently with SS so no issue.

Oh one other thing. You have to be careful when using copper solvents or they can mess up the chrome lining if they sit to long in the barrel. I switched back to cleaning with a non copper solvent cleaner for most cleanings.
