New guy on this site. Just bought a Colt Competition Match Target, etc, etc.

I was going thru the Sinclair catalog and saw the adjustable butt plate. Is this any good? Or is there a better alternative? I'm 5'8" and sorta have short arms. The adjustment dealie would be a big help to me.

Thanks

Roy Allain

PS: I'm a 6PPC Benchrest shooter for many years and intend to possibly shoot this rifle single shot, maybe.

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, I can't use that type. I have a standard stock (Competion).

the egw replaces your standard stock.  it just comes with a rifle buffer tube that has the tit removed, the plastic cover slides over it, and the buttstock clamps to the tube.  if you need a shorter lop, you have to replace your stock.  if you put a sully or stubby with that adj buttplate, that would achieve a shorter lop.
