I was just at an auction and there is a Colt SP1 on the table,looks like it is in great shape. Has triangler handgaurds. It looks like it has not been used very much at all,what is it worth?

Without knowing more, especially serial number, that's hard to tell... Easy $1000 I would imagine.

45000 range IIRC. What range of year would that run?

I wouldn't pay over $1K ... Unless it's NIB/LNIB. Maybe a little more then.
