I'm looking into getting a Bushmaster dissy or CMMGs version.  I like the full length sight radius.
What is the advantage of a full length gas system vs mid or CAR length?

If I get one of these can I set up my Aimpoint to cowitness the irons?  What rear sight would you recommend?

If I decide to get a rail system to replace the handguards, who makes one that would work on a set up like this, Larue?

Are these manufacturers quality, or would one recommend another brand?

I have about $1,500 to spend.

I'd take the full length gas system.  I have one.  It seems to have less felt recoil than any CAR or Mid-length system.  I have all three types.

Ok, so the full length system has less recoil and maybe more reliable across the spectrum
of rounds I would reload.

How about the free floating rail system and rear buis.  Any recommendations?

I've had the BM Dissy with the CAR length gas system.   I'd go with CMMGs version if I where you.   You'll have more options with the CMMG.  I'd get the mid length or full length gas system.

Yes, and I go with a GG&G OR ARMS #40. I've had both and like them alot.

Get the lightest one you can afford.  I had a full length YHM and it was a bit heavy.  If your going to go with a YHM get the light weight one.  It makes a big difference.

CMMG is a Good company, and so is BM.  I think CMMG offers you alot of versatility with quality.

I have about $1,500 to spend.
