I am trying to take off my barrel nut and delta ring on my bushy but it is just to damn tight.  I am not worried about salvaging the nut or delta ring so how can I get this damn thing off?  I am getting very frustrated.  Thanks guys.

Try pulling on the wrench harder!  Seriously, clamp the barrel or receiver well and pull on that thing.  You're not going to break it.  You do have the right spanner wrench right?

Are you using a receiver block?  If not, then you should get one.

Put the entire upper in the freezer for an hour.  Take it back out and try again.
If still won't budge, apply some heat to the nut with a blow torch.
If still no go, use a longer bar on the wrench.
If still no go, try tapping the bar as lightly as necessary with a hammer.

It is in the freezer right now.  I will give it a while and try again.  I am tempted to cut off the delta ring use a monkey wrench on it but too scared of screwing the whole thing up.

If your using a barrel wrench / socket wrench combo, install the barrel wrench horizontal extending from the ejection port side (with the upper in an action block in a sturdy vise).  With one hand push the barrel wrench toward the receiver and with the other and your body weight press down on the socket wrench (hopefully it’s a long one).  Once it’s started it will be a breeze to take off.

This of course assumes you’ve removed the gas tube already.
