Possible, yes. Legal, maybe not. We are not supposed to alter or remove manufacturers info from a firearm.

Just buy a new lower. It would be cheaper, and have less headaches.

Or, I think Global Tactical was selling CMT/Stag lowers with a different logo on them.

I've seen the TIG welded A1 receiver conversions, so I imagine a skilled weldor could fill it in
and you can get it refinished.

or just smush some JB Weld in there...
