What type of scratch?  Most clean up with CLP, but sooner or later they all get beat up if you use them.  Go take it and beat the hell out of it in a training class or two, and then you won't notice it anymore.

This coming from the fellow who does an awful lot of "refinishing"...

You can't "fix" it, and it is probally unsafe to fire.

Please send to me ASAP, and I will determine if is is safe or not, most likely not.  I can dispose of it for you when it is determined "unsafe".

Since you are a member of AR15.com I will waive my usual safety check and diposal fee.

IM me for more details.

Thank you and sincerlly,

Travis
Just kidding,

Shoot it, enjoy it!

And I understand about scratches, if they bother you there are ways to fix 'em, and be more carefull with it next time!

I’m still waiting for the Stickman photo series on how they look BEFORE they get refinished!

Thanks. This is what I was looking for. The main reason is for old ARs, if I wanted to sell it, I could fetch alot more money just by a few bucks and a little work of making it purty.

You’ll get varying results with Alumablack, from light grey to dark grey/black. My best results have come from a very thorough degreasing with brake cleaner and multiple applications.
