| Question about IBSZ: I'm following along with the Maryland AR15 site's ibsz tutorial. It says spin the site to 6/3: DONE. Then it says stick an allen wrench into the site, losen, and then go 2 click BELOW 6/3. When I'm at 6/3, the site is sitting flush. It won't go down any further. Not to mention that when I put the 1/16th allen wrench in there, it doesn't grab onto anything. The gun is a RRA with their tactical carry handle for now. Sorry for the newbie question. I tried searching and couldn't get anything other than links to the maryland site. Thanks for the help. |

Ok When the sight is bottomed out ther should be an allen head screw aligned under the hole in the top. Use a light to look in the hole to see if you can see the head of the screw. If not you'll have to adjust the elevation till you see it. The drum is actually two pieces a top and a bottom. Once the allen screw is loosened you will be able to move the bottom of the drum (even with the sight bottomed out) the required number of clicks. BTW you will need to go 4 clicks below 6/3. 2 is for the fixed carry handle - check the directions for more info on this. |
Thanks forest. Trying this after lunch. I'll get back. |
