I was wondering if sombody with a colt M4 barrel could do me a favor and get a precise measurement of the center to center distance between the pins holding the front sight base/gas block on to the barrel? I was thinking of making a simple jig for use with a table vise to press the pins out and back into place when installing a freefloat handguard. I used to use a hammer and punch, but I am tired of the banging around and being worried about possibly slipping and/or marring the finish. Thanks! Chris |
