howdy, first post here... been lurkin for a short bit..... im lookin to buy an ar, i thinks im goin with a bushmaster....  gotta question...........

those of you who have flat tops, and use optics, does your front sight bother or hinder you? or do you like it in the picture?

i have not seen a bushmaster modular carbine posted, are these lame?

do they sell an m4 with the phantom flash suppressor attached? and can you add a rail foregrip, even with a permanently attached muzzle accessory?

sorry about all the noob questions at once, but the local gun show is this comin week........ and i gotta itch!!!!!!!!!!!!

if you use a scope with magnification you don't see it.
the bushmaster modular carbine  is a great rifle.
don't know about a factory install but a local gun smith can thread it and you can put on what you want.  
your in texas so you can add what you like.

i have not seen a bushmaster modular carbine posted, are these lame?  Evidently most people here think so, there are other ways to get more bang for your buck.

do they sell an m4 with the phantom flash suppressor attached? and can you add a rail foregrip, even with a permanently attached muzzle accessory?  Bushmaster does if you feel a need for the 14.5", and while it cuts down on which rails you can use, you can still put on a rails without much problem.

guess im kinda wavering back to the m4 with the phantom... throw on a rail fore grip.... its either that or a 16" carbine, but i want foregrip rails, front grip and light........... want to stay away from a full length rifle..........

The 14.5" M4 equals 16", and the 16" barrel equals roughly 17" (17.5")but they are both carbines.

The perm additional of your FS is something to consider for down the road.  However, most people don't do many mods to their weapons that make it an issue.
