Any mil-spec mag with green followers will be "best"...

FYI, there is a section of the board that specifically deals with magazine questions...It is the forum named "Magazines"

What are they?

They're anti-tilt followers that do not allow the ammo to tilt in the mag making for more reliable feeding of the ammo stack. They add a couple bucks to the price of a mag if they're already installed or you can buy them seperately and change them out yourself.

You could probably learn a lot about mags in the mag section of the forum. I'd check it out if your planning on buying mags before making your purchasing decisions.

HK mags are the best, they feel like the follower rides on ball bearings, no tilt, very smooth, but very pricey, $40-50.  A close second are the D&H mags with a 2nd Gen. Magpul follower.  You pays your money and takes your choices, IMHO

I have never heard a negative word regarding the Magpul followers ever.
The closest negative thing I have ever heard was why do you need them in the first place
My green followers have functioned flawlessly for years.
Please post any and all threads you know of that have negative feedback please, I would like to know if there is any real issue and what it is.

Just rumors around the range, I’m not speaking on self experience, Magpul usually makes solid and reliable products.

Center or Okay/NHTMG.

I just picked up some NIW Center mags in the EE for $9 each. Pretty easy to pass on D&H mags when real USGI mags are that cheap.
