Hi all, I have a Bushmaster that I would like to find some info on. 1. Is there anyway to find out if the upper on it is the original? 2. If it's not the original, how can you find out what was the original? 3. When was it made (I've email Bushmaster with no luck)? It's serial number L0004XX Thanks for any help.

You can call Bushmaster customer service and try to find out what configuration the rifle left the factory in (or if it left as a stripped receiver). Also check the barrel for markings. It should be markded "B MP 5.56" then the twist if it's a not one of their stainless or varmint barrels.
Call customer service, they get too many e-mails to return info like that in a timely manner. I find I get better results by calling. |
