about a week ago i got a armalite ar15 with the a2 top. I put an red dot style sight on it and its OK but Id really like to have the flat top style. how much would it cost me to covert it?

$95 including shipping for the part.  Check your local hometown forum as there are usually people who will help you swap it over, and who already have the tools.

There are several dealers on the board who sell the CMT flattop uppers, we are one of them.
Make sure you check and see if your weapon has the M4 feedramp extensions, the uppers are available with or without them.

I turned it on. I'll call the shop i got the gun from tomorrow and asked. I found the flat top on armalite's site for 130. how do i find out if it has the M4 feed ramp extensions?
