[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt M4 Stock

Im wanting to paint my M4 Stock, but want to disassemble it to not get overspray on the buffer tube. Is there any way to seperate them? Thanks.

Instead of squeezing the lever to move the stock, pull it away from the stock. You will be able to slide the stock right off the tube.
