Just got an M261 today...what is the story on these little mags that they come with? Do you insert those into 20 round mags to use them?

they work in any ar mag, 20 or 30 rd. Great little piece of equipment and you won't be dissapointed.

What the heck is an M261? I tried googling it and alls I got were some math courses and bike tires. Do you have any pictures?

I'tsa .22 conversion kit. It replaces the bolt carrier group, and the little magazines get inserted into USGI 20's or 30's. It allows you to shoot your AR with .22LR.
