Agree! Very nice rifle (got the same thing!). I just finished up a 4-day rifle school Dec '05. I actually have an brand new Aimpoint right now (had it before the school), but did not use it at all. I wanted to get used to the iron sights and feel really proficient with them, then move on to my Aimpoint. G'luck to you!

nice, short stroke test it 10 times, run 200 rounds w/o a malf, zero it and report back
also, not to be a dick, just FYI, put a wrench to the carrier key screws and make sure they're tight and securely staked. |

Ah yes I do agree. I was planning on buying a mini-14 but I'm glad I found out about the Ar-15. I'd have to say its one of the best decisions in my life. |
