DeGroat Flash Enhancer > AR Discussions

Hi all,

On one of the other boards I visit I had a few requests to post some pics of this in action as well as a shot of whet the device actually looks like. I just thought the ARFCOM family would enjoy these as well. You can find information on the DeGroat Flash Enhancers at Armament Sales but I don't think they have any in stock right now. I think I may have uploaded a few photos when we first tested this but I have been asked what the device actually looks like so often that I thought I should get this one up too. Just sharing a little "Gun Porn" with the family. ;)

I’m pretty certain it was in the Book of Armaments, probably right after Chapter 4, Verse 20.

I saw another style that sort of looked like a faceted parabolic mirror a month or so ago on Sturmgewehr for sale. Didn't think much about it and saw one in the movie "Sin City" the other night. One of the ladies from Old Town had one on her Uzi and it was throwin' a fireball for sure.

While there is no true practical purpose for a DeGroat Flash Enhancer, I still covet one and would place it in the cabinet next to my Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch that I got from Brother Maynard.

Uuuummmmmm, because some of us actually have fun doing this? Lots of C3 enthusiests are just "Sandpit Commandos" who like things that are not necessarily "Tactical or Practical" but just fun. Think HK51B and 53K and so on. Big balls of fire and loud thumping machine guns are a hell of a crowd pleaser! When my "targets" are not shooting back, this stuff is just the ticket.

Up close if you miss... not to worry, they will burn down!!!

I like my .357 SIG... but it IS NOT the best pistol caliber for low light serious use!

That is pretty cool! I don't think that I would get one right now though. Especially having to wear gloves while shooting with it to not burn my hand lol

Why not just get a good muzzle brake (JP comes to mind)? Same effect basic only you get the added bonus of less recoil.
