Very nice!

Any chance of getting a custom serial number (SgtMajXXX####)? Speaking of custom work: How about changing "Hooah" (an army term) to "Sgt Maj's Happy Switch"?

I'd like to bounce the idea off of the SNCO Assoc. and Mrs. Sgt Maj as a possible retirement gift.

ETA: Can you supply a color matched flat top upper receiver?

how much for one?

and yeah van we get the hooah changed to oorah?( "get some" would be nice as well ;) )

OMFG, I want it.

Give it to me now.

I will give you a great amount of pleasure if you give it to me.

I will give you a great amount of pain if you don't.

But seriously, gimme!

How much would one of those pups go for? Willing for trade? :-)

gotta love it

Wow, thank you for the great feedback.

I love to run the prototypes by ARFcommers for feedback before production to iron out the bugs.

Yes, custom serials are possible.

Yes, I can change "hooah"

Researched "hooah" but happy to have any feedback on a more apropriate spelling, etc.

The plan is to have two ways to order.
A short run of "standard" lowers where you cannot custom any markings
or
Total custom lower that you custom order any of the markings.

Costs are still being hammered out.

Sincerely,
Steve

I'd love to have one. Would you be willing to trade standard lowers for one of those? (including a lil bit of $)

I will take a standard one once you get it hashed out

I'm not a military vet, but I'm pretty sure that "hooah" is an Army term, while "oorah" is a Marine term.

Thank you for the input.
Not military myself.
Anyone else with some insight?
I would like to get it "right"

Also, need some third selector suggestions for the items below and please keep it nice......

Navy SEALS
Special Forces
101st
82nd
1st Cavalry
Skull and crossbones

any generic fun stuff

Thanks for helping.

Nice work!

"Hooah" is an Army term,at least it was when I was 11B.I think file clerks say it now,so it kind of lost it's appeal

"oorah" is Marine.

Tag, got a Marine friend building an A4, this would be a great lower for him. He'd love it.

JUMPIN JESUS ON A POGOSTICK!!! i need that more badly than you can imagine. change it to "oorah" and ill buy one. seriously, i need it.

can i get a custom serial?
1/1/2006 2:27:09 PM EDT
[#16]
THAT IS AWSOME!! I want one...

but you've gotta take the army Hooh off it .. Marines don't say that. Ooh Rah would work much better

EDIT: I don't care if it works or not I'll take the ooh Rah feature cut into it.

Let's see the skull and crossbones proto? I wasn't a Marine so this wouldn't do it for me but your font and details are absolutely stellar!

Again,
Thank you for helping me out.
Looks like the main run will be "OORAH"

Any suggestions on the other images?

Here's a shot of  a skull and crossbones (swords actually) on a stock lower
Both were run as prototypes to see how the images look.
The TSM lower will have the image on the left side
The two differ slightly

Very nice Steve.  Great work as always. The most common spelling is Ooh-Rah.

Ooh-Rah!

Make the Skull smile and then "jolly roger" would be great. The crossed swords I think meant they would kill every one..so"killem all"
Navy Seals=The only easy day is yesterday or "frog man"for shorter wording
Special Forces=Di Opresso Liber crossed arrows and sword with wording
101st=death from above
1st Cav=Gary owen
82nd=all american
Army=Hooah
Rangers=Follow me
Marine Recon=swift,silent,Deadly
Air commandos=So that others may live

Just a few for thought..even Semper Fi on the marine lower

Steve a great looking piece. Here is another idea since I am a Nam vet. Would be nice to see one that says Vietnam and the years you where there like this. I think alot of us Nam vets would sure like to have one. I served with the Army so the Marines would be out for me LOL.

Air Commando - Any time any place
Pararescue - That others may live
Combat Control - First there
TACP - Putting bombs on target -or- Cleared hot
Combat Weather - ?

any chance of an Air Force symbol but with something else for those of us that are not  spec ops?
going to do all the services?

btw - my user name is a contraction of several acronyms of my AF career; sounds cool though

I think you should build a rifle with the USMC lower and present it to R Lee Ermey.
1/1/2006 7:50:37 PM EDT
[#31]
I want one that says "67th Chairborne", the logo should be a large chair and a crossed keyboard/mouse... the selector should say "Safe-Semi-Pwned".

How about this:

" USMC S/S 8541 "   for the Marine Scout/Snipers.

I hold a very special place in my soul for Marine Scout Snipers

Just thought of another one...

I hope everyone knows who GySgt Carlos N. Hathcock II was... Well, maybe get the White Feather engraved into the receiver as well... That would be real awesome!

Let me know when you get a price worked out.
