[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Which Lower Parts Kit???

Seems to be quite a range of pricing when it comes to AR-15 lower receiver parts kits...

RRA around $70
DPMS around $60
and Sarco around $45 (plus $6 for the grip which is not included)

For the most part Sarco is considerably less for all parts... why?

What justifies this range of pricing... is RRA really that much better?

Pesonally I would go for a CMT unit. They run about $59 and are by far the best LPKs I've used.

DPMS ~$55-$60--i went with this--i would not get em again--finish was not black enough for me

RRA/CMTs usually go for ~$60

would opt for the RRAs or CMTs for the price

check out the industry/EE board for some dealers w/ good pricing and quality LPKs

Pardon my ignorance, I don't know who CMT is... I tried looking in the Industry board, but no CMT.

You can also go with Stag as they are made by CMT ( same company). I used their LPK's and they are nice. I have also used DPMS and RRA without any problems either, guess I am just not as picky about a bunch of small parts.

Continental Machine and Tool. They sell their stuff under the Stag label.
